What is life? That is a question that comes to everyone's mind. But everyone has a different answer depending on his perception, experience, understanding, level of consciousness, the stage of evolution he is passing through, etc.
There are billions and billions of living beings all around us and each living being is at a different stage of evolution and has a different perception, experience, understanding, level of consciousness, etc. It means that each living being has a different answer to the said question: What is life? So this question does not have one correct answer. It has billions of correct answers. So let us not waste our time contemplating a standard answer to this question.
This brings us to the second question: What is death? Some would say death is the end of life, while others would say death is the beginning of another life. I think both the answers are partially true. Death is thus the end of this life and the beginning of a new life. Now, what is the cause of death. It is caused by the soul leaving the body in which it was residing so far. But why would a soul want to leave a body.
